Worrying about money? Access the guidance leaflet and poster

The Worrying about money leaflet guides Cornish residents through four simple steps towards help with their money worry.

This leaflet is a simple resource for people facing financial crisis - and those supporting them - to quickly see available advice and support options and which agencies are best placed to help.

The aim is to reduce the need for emergency food aid by helping people access any existing financial entitlements and advice on income maximisation.

Access the online version of the leaflet / poster and/or download a hard copy HERE.

This leaflet has been produced thanks to a partnership between Transformation Cornwall, the Trussell Trust, IFAN (Independent Food Aid Network) and Cornwall Council.

FREE Money Counts online training available in Cornwall.

This online training session is designed for frontline staff and volunteers in Cornwall who may have brief conversations with people about money worries or financial struggles as part of their work. The training aims to promote a 'cash first' approach to food insecurity.

After the one-hour session you will:

  • be fully aware of the local financial advice and cash first support options currently available in Cornwall
  • feel confident about using the Cornwall 'Worrying about money?' leaflet to ask people about wider money worries and guide them to appropriate support
  • understand more about the importance of a 'cash first' approach to growing food insecurity and poverty
