My Final Week with Transformation Cornwall
This week marks my final days with Transformation Cornwall and I can hardly believe how quickly the past 20 months have flown by!
This week marks my final days with Transformation Cornwall and I can hardly believe how quickly the past 20 months have flown by!
Since joining the team in February 2023 as Social and Media Officer, I’ve had the privilege of helping to share the stories, values, and impact of this wonderful organisation.Much of my work has taken place behind the scenes, from refreshing our branding and redesigning our marketing materials to managing our website, newsletters, and social media channels. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see how these efforts have helped shine a light on the amazing projects, faith groups, and community organisations working for hope, justice, and collaboration across Cornwall.
One of my highlights this year was helping to organise the Meet the Funders 2025 conference. I’ve also been leading the project to develop our brand-new website, which is currently in progress. (Be sure to sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know when it launches!)I feel very grateful for the encouragement and trust I’ve received from the whole team and Board at Transformation Cornwall.
Their passion for tackling inequality and supporting those most in need is something that will stay with me. Over the past year and a half, I’ve learnt so much about the vital, often unseen, work happening across Cornwall’s voluntary and faith sectors and it’s been an honour to play a small part in amplifying those efforts.
Thank you to everyone who has engaged with our work, shared stories, and supported our communications along the way. It’s been a joy to connect with so many dedicated people across Cornwall who care deeply about their communities.
With gratitude and warm wishes,
Aurore
Social and Media Officer, Transformation Cornwall
A message from Clinton Sealy, Operations Director at Transformation Cornwall:
“On behalf of the Transformation Cornwall team and our Board of Trustees, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Aurore for her dedication, creativity, and passion. Her work has strengthened our communications, refreshed our branding, and helped us reach new audiences in the last few months. We’re deeply grateful for her contribution and wish her every success in her next chapter. As we begin the process of recruiting for a new Communications Officer, our social media activity will be a little quieter than usual over the coming months. We appreciate your patience and continued support as we transition and look forward to sharing updates with you soon.”
