Merry Christmas to all our Partners and Reflections on 2024

As we prepare to bid farewell to 2024, we find ourselves reflecting on our journey throughout this busy and transformative year. We've welcomed two new members to our team, strengthened our long-term partnerships with the faith and voluntary sectors, and forged new connections that we look forward to building upon in the coming year.

This year, we launched and supported several impactful local and national campaigns, including Keep Cornwall Carpeted, Statutory Sick Pay, Guarantee Our Essentials and the Cash First approach, all aimed at creating positive change for our local communities.

In April, we hosted the twelfth edition of our Meet the Funders Event, where we had the pleasure of welcoming 17 funders and over 100 attendees. The event showcased the power of networking and partnerships. Building on this success, we are excited to announce that Meet the Funders 2025 is scheduled for May 6th . Please save the date—we would love for you to join us. More details will be shared in the new year!

Throughout 2024, we engaged with over 380 individuals and 50 organisations. Next year, we look forward to carry on expanding our work with the network of foodbanks across Cornwall, supporting their incredible efforts to combat food insecurity.

Every day, we witness the resilience, commitment, and dedication of organisations across Cornwall and the UK as they tackle inequalities and injustice, respond to local issues, and support our communities. This is what Faith in Action truly means.

As we continue our journey, we remain inspired by the incredible work being done to bring about positive change. We wish all the volunteers and staff who have been working tirelessly this year, and those who will continue to do so over the Christmas period, a peaceful and happy Christmas.
