During this one hour session will find out more about the Community Capacity Fund and Community Levelling Up Programme funding priorities, eligibility criteria, support available and the application process.

About the Community Capacity Fund

Applications are now open for projects that can deliver until 31 December 2025.

This fund supports community organisations to develop projects or project ideas with grants of between £1,000 and £24,999. Particular emphasis will be given to supporting those areas that have little or no experience of applying for and securing funding.

Applications for the Community Capacity Fund will remain open until all funds have been allocated.

About the Community Levelling Up Programme

Applications for the The Community Levelling Up Programme (CLUP) are open for Year 4. The primary goals of the programme are to put communities at the heart of delivery, to tackle deprivation and strengthen communities across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly

This fund supports community organisations to develop projects or project ideas with grants of between £25,000 and £200,000. The average project grant is expected to be around £80,000. Priorities for this round of funding are:

1. Sustainable and accessible infrastructure
This includes capital improvements to increase an organisation’s sustainability, limit impact on energy bills, make local infrastructure resilient to change, improve accessibility to create inclusive community buildings.

2. Green spaces and well-being
This includes investment in public parks, paths, playgrounds, green gyms, and other projects that deliver a social programme engaging the local community

3. Events and culture
This includes support for projects offering an event or a programme of events to rejuvenate town centres or villages and create opportunities to come together and celebrate local places, boost the economy and increase footfall.

CLUP will not fund one-off events, but projects that will create/kickstart/launch a new programme/service which will continue beyond the lifetime of the funding.

The deadline to submit an application will close at 5pm on Friday 28th February 2025. All projects must be completed by 31st December 2025.
