New research shows almost one in five people receiving Universal Credit and disability benefits used a food bank in the last month

As welfare and disability benefit cuts risk pushing even more people to the doors of food banks, a YouGov survey for Trussell shows that nearly one in five (19%) of those on Universal Credit and disability benefits used a food bank last month.
